Associate Professor Gregory M Cario MBBS FRANZCOG is a founder and director of SWEC.

As a pioneer in advanced laparoscopic surgery in Australia, he was one of the first surgeons to perform the laparoscopic burch colposuspension, laparoscopic tubal reanastomosis and laparoscopic mesh sacrocolpopexy procedures; allowing many women diagnosed with surgical cases to be treated in a faster, less painful and practical manner.
